We had a fantastic day today at Willows farm. We were all very excited as we waited for the coaches to arrive, it is not a very long journey to the farm and everyone was very well behaved. When we got to the farm we met out guide, a man called Kim and then we had our fruit. Kim told us about some important farm rules and then we went to feed some animals in the farmyard. There were horses, a donkey, a cow, some goats, very big rabbit and some alpacas. We all got to cuddle a guinea pig if we wanted to...they were very sweet. Next we went to the Peter rabbit show which was fun, we did some singing and dancing! Then we went to see a Jersey cow being milked...it was amazing how fast the milk came out and how much there was.
Next it was off for a ride on Tristan the tractor, we saw lots of animals and had a sing-song. We spotted the bridge which will be in the middle of the maize maze when it grows for the summer. Next we had our lunch and then went for a play in Peter rabbit's playground. We found Mr McGreggor's garden and picked some wooden radishes, played in the kitchen and on the slides etc. Then we found the reindeer, Batman wouldn't come out of his shed but we saw Silver and Holly. We had a quick look in the growing patch where they have a lot of potatoes like ours at school and then we watched the sheep race...it was super fast and great fun. The red sheep won but they all got a treat of food at the end! On the way back to collect our bags we spent some time feeding the goats by the goat bridge. Then we washed our hands for the very last time and hopped aboard the coach for the journey home...lots of people feel asleep!!
