We were so proud of Chestnut Class today in their first class assembly. Everyone tried their very best and did an excellent job. Well done everyone!
As our topic for this half term is 'eggs' we decided to do our assembly about animals and their young. We chose our roles and we all had an important part to play. We started our assembly by singing 'Old McDonald had a farm'. We then acted out one of our favourite animal stories 'Sammy's Surprise Deliveries'. We then had some children that did some reading about animal babies and the audience had to guess who their mother was. Then we had some children hold some eggs, while the audience guessed what animal baby was inside. We finished our assembly with a prayer, thanking God for all the creatures in our word.
