Today we made cheese scones. We mixed 8oz of flour with 2oz of butter by rubbing it together with our fingers. We made it look like breadcrumbs. Then we mixed in 4oz of grated cheese and 1/4pint of milk - we bound it all together and rolled out of a floured surface to about 1cm thick. We used a small cutter to cut out our scones and baked them for 15 minutes. Our cooks were Massi, Pearl, Joseph, Caris and Ethan. They were a scrummy treat and no sugar either!
